And so the moon continues to shine. Fully rounded and gleaming. The sight of the moon in the night brings peace to me. I like peace.

Speaking of peace, i cant help but bring up the issue of mas selamat. His family helped him with his escape. His brother allowed him to stay at their flat for one night and his niece helped him disguise himself as a woman. People keep talking about how it was a dilemma between helping a family member and upkeeping the security of the state and the safety of everyone else around us. What we fail to address is why there existed this dilemma in the first place. He was jailed for a reason. He commited wrong. He has radical ideologies which are not only dangerous to society, but immoral and completely off in the first place. My question is, did his family members know what he did wrong? Why he was detained? Why he was on the run? Why he was a criminal? Did they not understand that he needed to be punished and be corrected, instead of being given help in order to relieve him of this? More importantly, do his family members condone the radical ideologies that he preaches? This is what we overlook when we talk about the immorality involved, when in fact, the crux of the issue lies in this question. In fact, the damage could be far worse. In the event that they do condone this radical ideologies, do we then have more people who preach this radical teachings? Does this mean that he is influential to those around him? Should we be concerned that he is only one of many many other people infected with extremist philosophies, that could be far more damaging than just the escape of mas selamat himself? Is this problem bigger than we think it is?
Are we in trouble from not considering the potential consequences of such an issue?
