there are many ways to eat cake.

Indeed, there are many ways to eat cake.

On the afternoon of the 29th of January, we tried eating cake in the canteen, with nothing but our bare fingers. It was a chocolate cake from four leaves, and it was good. Lucas didnt want to use his fingers, so he literally stuffed his face into the cake. I have a photo of it, actually.

On the same night, after a fulfilling dinner at Swensen's parkway, we had another cake from four leaves. This time, we used the cardboard from the cake box to eat. As plates, and as spoons. But of course, I HAD TO EAT IT OFF MY FACE. How inevitable is it, too, to have cake up your nose. I think not. But yes, I had cake on my face and up my nose. Well done, Kim. Well done.

And then there was yesterday. The 30th of January. After shopping and getting new shoes, and eating lunch AND dinner at Swensen's, we came home for some cake. It was from Prima Deli and it was gorgeous. This time though, we ate with signs of civilization. With plates and forks. Yummy.

On a slightly different note, I'd like to thank everyone in the whole of VJ who sang me the BELOVED birthday song, even for twenty something consecutive times. Thanks also to everyone who has made my 18th birthday so special.

time to realize that I am freakin 18 years old.

Again.

Yay, I finally have a birthday thing that I can foresee happening. Friday night will be fun. Till then, it's a crazy week. School is just starting to simmer and soon we'll really feel the heat. Especially with all the shows and whatnot that we're having this season. And I think I might just have a cameo appearance in Cinderella. Score.

Yes, yes. Emceeing will be fun for Thursday and Friday and Monday and Tuesday. Wow. Four full fledged long days. Of all that orientation shit. Sigh, the pleasures of being Emcee. Oh well. After that's done, we can focus on more important things. Like, well, EVERYTHING ELSE.

Oh and I think I might be losing my sanity. Again.

MAD. (II)

By the way, the previous post was number 250.

Sigh, this is going to be a crazy crazy year. It's only been the first week of school, and it's been just outrageously ludicrous. Staying up late every night to study for RePapers and do homework is one of those things. And there was the really really long day - Friday. It started with PE. I don't know how much we ran, but it must be 4.8km or something. My head was gonna explode, and now my legs are aching each step I take. I can only blame myself, for not exercising in the past three months or so. And then lessons. And then TSD workshop. And then Gabriel. That's one crazy episode altogether, in one strangely long and grueling week. I have yet to start on CritComm. That's a 2500 words essay. Due tomorrow, FML.

Just wanna take the opportunity to say HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY, CHEW JIE QI! Hope you get better control of your sanity this year.

:)

To dear Gabriel Wong, thanks for everything. For being yourself and for allowing me to be myself and feel accepted. You're awesome. Happy 18th Birthday.

The First One in Ten

That's right, this is my first post in 2010. And it's like, day 13 of the year. Sorry guys, I've been busy preparing for SYF and RePapers, I didn't even have time to spare for friends. Sorry everyone. Sorry Gabriel. I've been putting off everything for my own stuff. I'm guessing that's how it's gonna be for the rest of the year, though. And I should prepare. Thankfully, I have people I can rely on. A gazillion thanks to Timothy for being so thoughtful and for caring so much. Especially in the past few days. You are special. Thank you.

Ah well. Repapers are finally over. It is now the aftermath, so I'm relaxing tonight. Aftermath, because after the disastrous catastrophe of a math paper, we all need to reconstruct the foundations that have been weak all this while, and pick up the pieces. The Geography paper was weird. It was - really - the promos paper. With the exact same insert. Now I have three copies of it in my file. What a waste of paper. Talk about GEOGRAPHY.

Speaking of which, the whole school thinks I've moved house. Strange, isn't it?

I sigh a lot.
Sigh.
