Damn Sunday Sickness

Sunday sickness again.
I feel like crap.
I bet crap feels better than I do right now.
Wet weather is not helping.
Shit, spilled mucus again. Ergh

Speaking of blocked noses,

SYF IN 8 DAYS!

Okay yeah. So really really busy this week. Still working on costumes and props. Rehearsals every night. Friday is our showcase, so come see us in the PT at 7.30pm, admission is free.

Really busy this week, so if I'm not doing what I'm supposed to, please people, understand and just remind me about it!!!!

Musical's been great. Though I've been to only three hours worth of rehearsals so far, so I really don't know what's happening. And I can't print out the script cos my printer's having her periods. Sigh

Glad to have watched some Musicfest Audition entries. They were great, really. I saw Timothy's band and Natalie's Band. Both groups were amazing!

Okay I think I'll buy concert tickets tomorrow. Since I happen to have money now.

Oh btw, I kick scootered to school yesterday for rehearsals. As in, on my kick scooter, I went to Simei then took the train to Bedok and then went to school from there on the thing. Not sure why I wanted to do it but it was fun!

Yup. It was quite random. It was a half day today and so I had nothing to do after class outing at Gelare, so I accompanied friends to Musical rehearsal, and I was pulled in to be part of supporting cast! hahah so random! So I'm dancing and playing on stage.

Uh... Still got lots of work to do. Though I've finished all my holiday homework, but I should catch up on everything right. Still, SYF is in two weeks and we're not prepared. By the way people, come watch our SYF showcase next Friday at teh PT! Admission is free. I think it's at 7pm or 7.30pm, can't remember. But do come down if you want to see it in advance!

Sigh.. been spending a lot lately. Must save money. So hard. Why can't I get paid for going to school?!

Something brewing in me, I think I should think it through. Don't bother asking, I won't tell you how hard you try.

Oh well, I'll leave you here for now. If anyone wants me, I'm busy. (heeheehee)

I'll be staying till night time tomorrow and Thursday, Saturday I'll be in school from eight thirty to five. Next week will be even worse. Buck up, cast and crew!!!!!!!!!

Back-Breaking Too.

Wow.


It's the school holidays and I'm feeling more pressure than I've ever felt this year.
I don't know why, but it's just so hard making time.
It's like, you have things to do but no time for them,
so you push it to the next possible time.
But it all just piles up

snowballing

into a giant mess, and who knows what the end might turn out to be like?

And then there are all these people expecting things from you
You don't know it until after making the empty promises,
and then you just get

"hit like a tonne of bricks"

by the amount of pressure you unintentionally asked for in the first place.


Been rehearsing a lot for SYF,
Still WAY behind time.
Need to buck up.
Perhaps a nagging session at my cast and crew.

Was thinking about this for a while already.
How many people actually come to my blog?
I mean, I check it almost everyday,
but I feel like I'm talking to myself.

And then I visit people's blogs,
they don't seem to be updating so often.
Am I spending too much time here?
oh well.

Departures

Okay long time since last post.
Um let's go chronologically.
Thursday.
Mask Performance at LT AVA.
That was fun. Our first TSD year one performance, and it was a success.
Took photos, they're on facebook.

Friday
VOG.
Played golf with some of the classmates.
URSA got second overall for golf!
And Andrea and Justus got medals.
Lol I thought I was okay.
I mean, I scored a total of zero but it was fun anyways.
Had SYF rehearsals after that, or what was supposed to be.
Instead, due to the poor attendance of the cast, we did more of the set than rehearsing.
Did up the fence and some of the forest curtains things.
Looking good.
Stayed till seven and went home with Sal!
Iced Lemon tea on the way home.

Saturday
Rehearsal for IP SYF at Lt AVA.
Attendance was compromised by the sickness that would prevail from the IP one Bintan Trip
But we did a few full runs nonetheless. With lighting.
Set still not done, so I stayed till seven to do that.
Sal and Andrea had a BK outing and left me out of it.
grr
Left school at seven. Set still needs work.

Sunday
Watched Departures.
Oscar winner for best Foreign Language film 2009.
From Japan.
Damn good.
It was funny, comedic, touching and moving.
Though it got a little draggy towards the end.
But it was a good two-and-a-half-hours spent.
Go watch it while it's still in the movies.

Today.
Not doing much.
I think I'll do some homework.

Pondering Pastry

I feel a whiff of a scent coming by
I feel something beginning.

Like when you bake a cake using self raising flour
and you put it in the oven
and it starts to rise
as you watch it bake.

I feel it come
But will it crumble?

I like pastry.
I like pastry very much.

And I wonder, pastry,
do you as much as feel an inclination?

I Feel Like Writing A Poem

No Idea why.
I feel like writing a poem.
And one line would say,
"When it's cold, I heed your warmth and when it rains you take me in"
Just thought of it.
Yeah.

Anyways,
went to school today to waste time.
Victorians' day and the turnout was horrible.
Sold eight DramaNite Tickets.
If you're wondering, just take your time. Tickets will still be on sale.

Met up with Simin, Gabriel, then Timothy.
And we danced.
Timothy taught us some moves.
My hand-eye coordination sucks, so you can just imagine
the mockery we made of the whole thing.
Did some Wadee-influenced choreography.
heh.

Went home and encountered the heaviest rain in a long time.
I was walking in the rain.
I just felt like throwing my umbrella and running.
It felt so good to be in the rain.
So comforting.

I think I should go and shower.
Then maybe do some work.
Cos there's a freaking truckload to do.
