Two Hundred!!!

Haha okay so apparently this is post number two hundred.

Long Live my blog. HURRAH!

Oh and how coincidental, it falls on the day I turn seventeen and a half years old! Is this not great? Hahah

Okay so I walk into school the past two mornings passing by the sign that says "Do not enter if you have returned from 'affected areas'. " Then I think to myself - isn't Singapore an affected area? What the heck are we doing going back to school?!

Oh and I just had my monologue sharing session today. I think I did okay. Quite scary to do monologue...

I can't get over the fact that I'm gonna be 18 in six months. I don't know. I really doubt people would see me as 18 next year. I barely look or behave mature right now so...

Oh well.

Happy Half Birthday to me! :)

Old Joke

Post 194. People watch out for the 200th Post, it's gonna be great.

Haha anyways, we're back in school. I don't know why but I feel so aimless and lost in school. No definite direction I'm heading for. I don't know what I'm doing. Maybe just readjusting to the routine of school life.

Tomorrow I'm gonna be officially seventeen and a half years old. HAH.

I don't know, but I think I'm gonna be the weirdest 18-year-old guy when I get there. I can't really see myself as 18 Years Old.

Oh well.

Okay well I haven't got more to say.

Go do your work.

We're going back to school in two days' time! I'm quite excited actually. Been doing nothing but mugging for the past few weeks or so. The only break I'm taking is today. The whole day. Tomorrow I will do Econs and maybe Maclaurin's Expansion. Cos I still don't see the whole point of Maclaurin's Expansion.

I just remembered we have to find an article for EOM! Hahaha. Will try find something today or tomorrow...

Gosh, I've been away from people for so long, there's a lot of catching up I need to do when I get back to school. Oh anyways, I wanna thank the people who came for my birthday celebration this year.

Leonie, Lucas, Simin, Amanda, Yasmin, Jie Qi, Wan Qing, Gwen, Xian Hui, Timothy, Gabriel and Darren. That's everyone in the photo. Hope I missed out nobody.

Anyways, thanks guys for that great day and the gifts. It's a lot and really special to me. Thank you! V13 you're the best.

Still trying to get over the death of the World's Undisputed King of Pop. Yesterday I couldn't even concentrate on studies at White Sands. Went with Yasmin, Simin, Gabriel and Timothy. hmmmmm...

Okay I'm gonna go out and do some volunteer work for Children's Cancer Foundation now.

I'll see you guys at school soon!

A Wake

Yesterday after studying math I went out to Timothy's grandfather's wake at Hougang. Gabriel and I met up at Bedok and he was with Kim. And there we were talking about our past camwhoring escapades. What fun. Met up with Timothy and we walked through Simon's Town to get to the place. Can't remember what it's called. But like Timothy's granddad founded it or something.

And we talked. And camwhored with his MacBook. At a wake. Yes.

At eight two of us left and we found our way through the darkness of Simon Town. It's quite eerie at night. Okay why it's called Simon Town is cos every street name there had Simon in it. Simon Lane, Simon Walk, Simon Place... Simon Says!

I think I'm going out on Wednesday morning to meet Kim and some people. So exciting. Exciting cos I don't have anything else to look forward to anyways... Heh.

Oh Oh we're watching the ACJC TSD Group Pieces on Saturday! YAY so exciting. Haha can't wait. Well, it's time to start work on Geography now. Ten in the morning. Let's hope I get to finish more work.

It's a Very Very Mad World

MAD WORLD performed by Adam Lambert

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
And their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which Im dying
Are the best Ive ever had
I find it hard to tell you
Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
Its a very, very
Mad World
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me whats my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which Im dying
Are the best Ive ever had
I find it hard to tell you
Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
Its a very, very
Mad World

Mugging makes me sick.

Sigh. Days are getting boring and draggy. Do nothing but study. It's irritating and I'm sick of this house. It's boring, dusty and the lighting is bad. It's dark. So bleargh....

UHHHHHGH.
I need to get out.
I'm getting fat, but that's besides the point.

POINT IS, I'm gonna throw a fit soon if I don't go somewhere and do something fun.

And I SWEAR the weather is schizophrenic.

Oh and there's that H1N1 thing. 50 cases and counting. I think it's really irresponsible and shameless of these people to be walking around in public and traveling abroad when they know they're having a flu. It's really disgustingly inconsiderate and selfish. To these people, shame on you. Just two days ago a man in Germany with a flu flew to Singapore and took the public transport and went shopping. Disgusting. Oh well, we'll see where this goes. Who knows? We might end up staying home another week before going back to school.

"I Would Like A Little Perspective..."

Here's the view from my new house. I haven't moved in though.

And this is the phantasmagorical new drama board! Hurrah!

It's Gettin' Hot In Here

Week three is here. And it is officially the half mark of this June Holiday season. I think I'm wasting my time. I have only done Econs up to Demand Supply Elasticity and a little bit of TSD for Absurd and unseen. I should really start on Geog and Math.

The weather has been crazy. Extreme. When it's hot, it's REALLY HOT. When it's cold, it's a tropical blizzard. Sigh. Let's work with it.

I think this coming week will be busy still, with PW, TSD crewing, piano concert, Cancer Drama thing and all that stuff breathing down my back.

It's been a long time since I've been anywhere near sad or depressed. Been happy and random. For a long time now. Here's a smiley to celebrate my being happy and random.

June thus far...

The first week was a tragic waste...

Didn't use it to the fullest. In fact it ws under utilised, and did not meet allocative nor productive efficiency, forgoing severe opportunity cost. Hence, the free market was not an efficient method of resouce allocation in this scenario, since a negative welfare was achieved.

Yes, I studied only the first set of notes for Econs so far. That's all I have done. Well, except for the unseen practice I did for TSD. But that's all I have so far. And that was my free week.

The coming week is fully booked for me, if you need to know. Tomorrow, I'm doing some TSD sai gang, and in the afternoon we're having a briefing for Tuesday. Tuesday we'll be doing SLV with kids at SengKang CC or something like that. Wednesday I think got JTS. Thursday I'm going to The Trumps for PW meeting. Friday is DRAMA TIME! :)

I noticed while lazing around these past few days, that I'm getting fatter. My uncle thought the contrary when we met a few days ago. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Oh well.

Okay need to sleep now. Good night everyone! =)

June The First

It's the June Holidays again. Another period of uncertainty and randomness. Another time when you put everything you knew to the test. Discipline to study, exercise, commitments to CCA and those random things you sign up for, money management, friendship, and all that complicated stuff.

People are coming and going. Temporarily, of course =)

It's been a month and a week since Drama Night.
A month since our Labour Day at Siloso Beach.

Half a year of J1 Life gone. Just like that.

In about one year, I'll be frantically writing my crit comms and rehearsing for A Levels.

Time passes too quickly. And we move on with life, sometimes unconscious about the progression of time.

Speaking about moving on in life, I would like to announce - right here, right now - that my family and I have recently purchased a new house somewhere far from Tampines. And no, it's not in Bedok. Or Tanah Merah.

We'll probably be moving in during our Mid Years season. I need to start packing up my things. Prepare to leave my humble abode in Tampines. Been here for about ten years, and I must say, this has been the setting for the most important years in my life thus far. And I will definitely miss this house.

Nevertheless, I will move on with an open mind and start anew at my new residence in Macpherson Estate.
