NOT done with work

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCAS!

OKay so it's Saturday, a quarter to midnight. Yesterday marked the end of work week. Had CCA after break. I went along with Health Club and we went to the nearby old people playground to excercise. I'm gonna miss my class. I had so much fun there, and teaching was a really fruitful experience. Speaking of fruits, Timo and I gave them lollipops as parting gifts. The flavors were weird, i must admit. There was watermelon, for one. We got gifts from the teachers there. They were really nice people, dedicated and committed to the students. Inspiring. Went straight home after school.

Today was a busy day. Cleaned the house in the morning. Took down the curtains. Went to the post office at ten to mail some things. Went to Giant to shop for random stuff. Broke fast at home with steak and salad. Went out to the Ramadhan Bazaar at Geylang Serai to get my clothes (finally) and new curtains! Reached home at ten thirty. Tiring day. Tomorrow we will be painting!

Oh and Asyraf, i think i know what you mean. Hang in there, brother. I feel it too.

School

OKay i didnt post yesterday about Wednesday. What happened on wendesday? Nothing much. Had Home econs though. I helped someone fry eggs. He was so cute. He tapped the egg gently on the table, and crushed the egg over the bowl in his fingers to get the filling out of the shell. we made fried noodles, and it smelt so good. They all sat together at the dining tables to eat and it was so cosy. It was very nice to see such camaraderie among our 13-14 year olds.

After school we went to IMM for a dinner treat by the really nice teachers. Had a Grilled salmon pasta hotplate thing. Really good. And the teachers ordered a lot of food. We talked for about an hour or so. The teachers shared their thoughts and experience teaching. It was a rather fruitful discussion. Went home after that. HA beat that, Gabriel!

Yesterday! Yesterday was quite normal. We had phonics in the library so we learned how to pronounce different sounds and they were given a worksheet to do. After the break we had a sports and games sharing session in the activity room so we played games there. Quite fun. And then we continued with our oral assesments. and then i went home while some of us went to subway to eat. I talked to Umar and Yinan on the train. LOL i remember the sign-in list spelt his name as Yi Yinam. haha.
OKay off to work now. BYE =)

Hi Class

OKay this is a long post.Went to work yesterday. Had art and Craft. The students were so sweet. They made some things for all the teachers including Timothy and me! Then had to test some of them oral. That was a drag actually. But the kid i tested made an improvement from the last test. After school went to meet up with my darlings from V13 - 13 darlings today. AGAIN. coincidence? I think not. Had dinner at Pizza Hut in Marina Square. Here's a picture of us eating. There's Gaby (or was it Ridhuan?) being a camwhore. oh and the real Ridhuan in the background, lol. And timo's mat name is Yousof/Yusof/Eusof/Ewsoph/Usof for some reason. I mean it's not like his name is Joseph or sth, right? lol... We surprised Lucas and Wadee for their birthdays! With a little birthday cake thing and the song was played over the public address system.

This was my shoe on monday when i reached school. All torn up and battered.


If you realised, i forgot to talk about the cycling outing and the weekend. So here it goes. Didn't do much on Friday. Watched Hairspray! Then made my way down to Siglap to meet up with Kevin Darren Timothy Gabriel for dinner at KFC. They went to watch Mamma Mia! Met up with the girls and we walked to ECP. On the bridge, though, my right foot decided to misbehave. If you wanna know, the joints were kinda overstretched that one of my toes was bent backwards voluntarily. Yeah so I think Gra suggested i ride the bike to the shop. I realised once i got on the bike that- 1) I forgot how to ride a bike, and 2)The bike seat was very high. So anyways, went ahead and we all cycled. A while later while cycling, BOTH my feet decided to misbehave. It was rather unpleasant but i didnt want to stop and waste anyone's time.

Lol, we played a prank on Simin. Thanks Leonie for the idea to do so!

McDonald's! Had a little chat and tehn we split. Gabriel and i had a lift on Simin's Dad's car. LOL, simin changed Gabriel's ringtone to Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne. Then just before he got off the car i called him! haha Anyways, thanks Simin for the lift. And thanks V13 for making me feel good. You know what? I have to get ready for work now. So I'll talk about the weekend later or tomorrow. CYA!

Okay so i went to work yesterday for the first day at school. Reached VJ super early but stayed outside of school till timo and tim walked in. LOL while at home my black shoes were perfect but by the time i reached school, they were kinda tattered. I walked too fast i think. NEED NEW SHOES! While waiting Kevin told me that he and Darren were in school bathing, so i didn't wanna bother them =] All 13 of us met in the canteen. Indri decided not to turn up for some reason. So yeah we just took off.

The school was quite small. The teacher in charge of us was nice. Went to class with the students after a long programme at assembly by PUB.Was in the same class as Timothy - Hope 6! Time for math! We were counting money. The students i helped were counting up to a dollar. It was very challenging for them to count the coins, even though they knew the multiples of ten. Kinda felt sorry for them. Break time! We had to go with the class to the canteen. Only two stalls open. They had food while Timo was telling me the Story of The Matrix. Thanks Timothy! After break was English! Sat at the back of the classroom to help out the guys from Hope 9 with their worksheet. They finished early then we all just stoned. One of them was drawing an f1 car. The other three of us were just watching Hope 6 playing games with words.

5.30pm, sang national anthem and SCHOOL SONG. Very interesting. And then we all left. Took a bus but it was peak period so took a while to get to Boon Lay. Nice long train ride home with Rannon, Timothy and Amanda. Thanks Rannon for sharing your shiney ipod nano! :)

Late for break fast, grabbed a bottle of pomegrenate mangosteen juice. It's an interesting flavour. Went home and idled around. Slept at ten thirty.

Today i think i'm gonna tone down on my attire. Perhaps a short sleeved shirt. and shoes i can actually walk in. Hope we do something interesting in class today. Like home econs or sth...

Over With The Struggles!

It's official.

EXAMS ARE OVER!

Like, finally... Now there's no more trying to juggle ip projects while studying. No more nonsense. No more physics! hah. OKay now we have the post exam activities. Or PEAs for short. So let's give PEAs a chance...! (heh it's a song) On with the fun, the long breaks, the long conversations, the movies, the outings, the night cycling! And the chalet! And the DnD! And Hari Raya in two weeks! And all of that. OH and I wanna watch Q Avenue! It's this play from Broadway and The West End. It won the Tony Award for best musical in 2004, and now it's in Singapore! It features lots of mature content and it's very funny. And puppets!

So anyway yesterday was quite boring. We had freakin maths. And YES its FREAKIN MATH. Argh, stupid paper. After that had Chinese, while the rest had a briefing or something. and thanks timo for the interesting notes! And what's with the girls lining up!? Explain yourelf! =D Oh and while we were studying for chinese Yasmin got so scared and claimed that a ghost was gonna trap us in class and kill us or something. Tsk tsk ... What's the media done to her. After Chinese paper we went home. While the rest went to Marina to eat. well, atleast according to Gabriel. Speaking of whom, he has a really nice new phone! I believe i mentioned this last week. Here's a shot of his brand spanking new phone.

One Last Paper

so tomorrow's the last paper. or papers, for me, cos i have chinese after freakin maths. bleargh....

I just hope i do really well for everything cos i put in so much effort in the revision and preparation part. Especially for the sciences and language arts. And for the first time ever i finished reading all the history notes and readings. I really worked my a** off this half of the year lah. I really don't remember sleeping at ten on school nights. And it is not an easy thing to do for me, cos i'm a morning person. So i find it almost impossible to do work at night, like after ten thirty-ish.

OMG i better do well, or i'll...i'll....i'll complain! Or worse, i'll cry in front of mr chan,

"Mr Chan, it's just so hard...sob sob"

Or,

"I'm gonna write a letter."

Wonder what we will do after exams. Cant wait for get real week to be over, we all know why. What are we gonna do after that anyways? i mean, besides invigorate and checking scripts...

Crap!!!! it's almost twelve. noon. Better study math. and chinese. Okay peeps I'll see yall after our final paper for the year. Stay tuned!

ha random post

well, last week was nothing but study. 9 to 5 non stop. I even skipped lunch(cos im fasting. heh). Although im still not done studying. Still not done with Math and bio!!! Lang arts paper one and two yesterday. Paper one was okay, i feel quite satisfied with my essay. My compre was not so well done though. I was struggling to paraphrase. PLUS, MY SUMMARY IS ONLY 80 WORDS. I couldn't find any points... but hey! It's called summary for a reason, right.

Well anyway i went home and studied for History. Fell asleep and woke up at like 5pm.heh.

Today's history paper was okay. It was kinda wierd. Not sure if i did well.
Well, MT paper tomorrow...

OH BTW I GOT SCHOOL FOR AUTISM FOR JOB ATTACHMENT. I'm so pissed off at that boy lah. So biased in his judgements. Or perhaps it was all randomly done. Don't you think that we should get at least one of our FIVE CHOICES? I got the one that I ignored in the first place lah. And if you're gonna use me and throw me into something unpopular i would prefer zoo.

(Id rather clean up animal sh** than human sh**)

And why do you have to be so elitist? Talk about empowering the students. And if you're gonna speak so highly about vip students to everyone else, why is there a need to choose us based on merit? Aren't all 120 of us VIP students!? Shouldn't we ALL get an equal chance of getting what we want?

As you can tell, i have a lot to say in the next semestral survey. hah. My main argument would be that the system is too rigid and concrete. Like someone...

argh... it's all stressing me out. Stupid. Can't wait till it's over. Next friday, we'll be free.
